Attendance lets you see who's available for each game and practice. It's off until you turn it on, and you choose how much you want to ask of families.
Turn it on and choose a mode
- 1Go to Settings, open Customize Your Dock, and switch Attendance on.
- 2In Attendance options, pick your default behaviour: Assumed in, or Ask everyone.
The two modes
Pick the one that suits your team's culture:
- Assumed in (default): everyone counts as going, so only players who can't make it respond, with a quick reason for you. The least friction for families.
- Ask everyone: nobody is pre-selected, so each family sets their availability for every event and you can see who hasn't replied. Turn on reminders and TeamDock nudges non-responders before the event.
For families
On any game or practice, players and parents tap Attendance (it says 'Your availability' for families) and choose Going, Maybe or Not going. Maybe and Not going ask for a short reason for the coach. It takes seconds, straight from the schedule.
For coaches
- Open any event's Attendance to see the roster with going / maybe / out counts and every reason.
- You can set a status for any player yourself.
- Turn tracking off for a one-off event, like a social, right from that event.
